AIR SYSTEMS PERFORMANCE AUDIT
Compressed air is the most expensive utility to produce and maintain in most industrial environments today. As a result, the opportunities to recognize savings in energy and maintenance can be the single largest means of reducing plant-operating costs.
We suggest an initial general inspection of the proposed or existing compressed air or gas system by a project engineer. Within 30 days a report detailing the following will be provided:
- Discussion of the system as to its configuration
- Overall system layout and condition
- Compressor type and accessories details including:
- Estimated annual power cost and possible power savings
- Noted operational and mechanical deficiencies
- Suggested measures to rectify suspected deficiencies
The initial inspection is general in nature and is used as a template to identify major potential cost savings.
This inspection and report are provided at a minimal cost. Most initial surveys take about one day on site.
The report is configured to help the client make a decision as to the economics of more comprehensive inspections and tests.
