You may also reach out to Sherrie Hansen at (800) 515-1160 or shansen@cen-tech-inc.com for the latest details and/or to register.

Attendees will see first hand why “repairing and putting the existing parts back into the compressor” may be the best alternative. We will focus our courses on the 3R’s: REBUILD. REPAIR. REUSE.

The CTI training seminars target plant personnel from all trades and professions to better understand the basic theory of operation of centrifugal compressors, the mechanical parts and terminology, and most importantly the daily operational practices necessary for a centrifugal compressor to keep them operating reliably, at peak performance, for the longest possible period between major service.

We have hosted engineers, maintenance team leaders, technicians, I&C technicians, and operators, to help them have a better understanding of the inner workings of centrifugal compressors and their auxiliary systems. We feel that this knowledge makes each team member better at helping maintain the compressors.

We incorporate a balance of both classroom and hands-on training to keep the training experience enjoyable, so that is more readily retained. Classroom work is typically 30-90 minute segments with different instructors that have excellent knowledge and experience in their areas with an approximate class size of 15-25 students. The hands-on segments are broken down into groups of 3-5 students so everyone is involved in each segment. There is always time for and encouragement to ask questions specific to your individual needs and all instructors are available for extra questions, etc. after and between classes.

Our ultimate goal is for each team member, regardless of their area of expertise or level of experience, to go back to their plant with a full understanding of the impact of daily operational practices and scheduled maintenance needs and the reasons for incorporating and performing them.

Classes are held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. There is a “Meet and Greet” with refreshments held at the hotel on Monday night. Lunches and dinners are catered and included in the cost of the seminar, along with all transportation after the attendees reach the hotel on Monday night. Certificates of completion are awarded on Thursday.
